Blog?!

What?! I have a blog? I can't believe it has been over two years since I posted on here. A lot has changed since then. 2 moves, one more on the way. Can't wait to see where the Lord takes us next.

An Update... Finally :-)

Well, we have had a full summer. Here is a short explanation of all the pictures below: It started with Freedom Fest on the 4th of July. Our church puts on an event that ends with a fireworks show. Then we went to Colorado in July after my sister got engaged so I could dress shop with her. Rob & kids went and did other things with Gramma while Anne and I shopped. We did finish off the trip with a great 15 MILE hike!! Are we crazy or what?! Then evidently nothing picture worthy happened the whole month of August, just a lot of swimming to beat the heat. In Sept I went to Colorado to give Anne a bridal shower, came home for a few days, then we all went back up there for the wedding. We did fit in 2 drives up to the mountains to see the beautiful golden aspens, my FAVORITE!!! We had the rehearsal and dinner; where Julia, as usual, was making new friends. Anne and Wallace had a wonderful wedding. Julia was the flower girl, Ryan played guitar, and I was also in the wedding. It was such a happy time. We ended the trip with the 2nd drive up to 2 different mountain passes. And now we are back home to real life. Oh yeah... Julia started Kindergarten after Labor Day. She is doing very well and enjoying it immensely. She also decided to stop sucking her thumb, just in time as she lost her first tooth. :-) That's it for now. :-)

Summer 2008 Slide Show

Goings on

Not much new. We are just tyring to beat the heat by going to the pool a lot. Some friends invited us out on their boat last night, oh what a fun relaxing time. :-) How we miss our boat...
Kids are doing good, Julia is doing so well learning how to swim. I think by the end of the summer she will be a little fish like brother. Ryan is keeping up with school and getting a lot done.
That's about it.

General updates...

Wow!! It has been almost a month since I posted! Let me see if I can being you up to speed. Ryan's soccer team played in a tournament in Lubbock and won second place. Now soccer is over for the summer. MDO is taking a little break before their summer session. Julia doesn't quite understand it; she keeps asking when it will be Thursday so she can go to school. We have signed her up for school in the fall. She will be going to a private school because we only want her to go half days and that is the only way to get that. It starts in September. Ryan is working very hard to get his school work done before the summer is over. He is doing a great job. We got a pool pass for the base pools and are spending time out there cooling off and getting tan.

Preschool Choir

This past Sunday Julia sang in the preschool choir at both of our morning church services. She really enjoyed doing it, and she was so cute!! :-)
